The Degree in English Studies provides students with broad knowledge of the English language, literature, cinema and the cultures of the countries where English is spoken. The main objective is to train graduates who are able to meet the professional needs that have been generated in today’s society, which have as an object of study the language, literatures, cinema and cultures of the English-speaking world, and which are related to teaching, research, editing and the publishing market, and the management of international communication. This qualification provides students with a broad scientific and methodological base in the field of the English language, its literatures and its cultures.
Levels of knowledge acquired by passing the modules taught in English. Language level cannot under any circumstances be certified in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) by passing these modules.
